Artistic Director of Pregones/Puerto Rican Traveling Theater. Since 1979, she has led the creation of Pregones’ original music theater repertory. Selected works: The Red Rose, Dancing In My Cockroach Killers, The Harlem Hellfighters On A Latin Beat, Flybabies, Betsy!-with Roadside Theater (KY) and Brides, with companies in Belgium and in the Slovak Republic. She is a United States Artists Fellow.
